Our mission is to encourage the performance and presentation of folk music in Nebraska, to educate the public on the unique cultural and artistic value of folk music, and to create and promote venues for folk music performances.

The Plainsong Folk Festival began in the fall of 2002, as a showcase for local musicians and dancers. The festival has changed venue and artistic focus.

Plainsong Folk Festival currently includes local, regional, national and international artists.

The 2010 festival is scheduled for October 2, at Sprague/Martel Community Center

7490 SW 14th Street

Martell, Nebraska

1:00 until 9:00 pm
